The number of Australians aged over 65 is projected to become 25 per cent of the population within the next two decades. To meet the increase in demand for services to support longer life, the Australian Government allocated $7 billion to services for aged care in the 2019-20 Budget. This investment will contribute toward improving mental health in older Australians, both directly and indirectly. 

It will also create career opportunities for 366,000 aged care workers to support our health and mental health across our lifespan.

The specific challenges of business in the corporate sector are reflected, and in many situations amplified, in the nonprofit world. Those with the ability to solve these challenges can do more than just a good job – they have the power to make a real difference and make a lasting impact in the non-profit sector. 

In the 21st century, teaching is a diverse and multifaceted profession. Today, teachers not only play a significant role in the academic life of students, they are also seen to be a nurturer, a mediator, a mentor, a counsellor, a support-person and, quite often, a moral compass.
