What you will study

To gain your online Graduate Certificate in Business Law, you will study four units. This will include one core unit and three electives. The electives running will depend on what intake you begin your studies.

Entry requirements

To qualify for the Graduate Certificate in Business Law, you must have:

  • A Bachelor degree in any discipline, or equivalent; AND

  • Students also need to be proficient in English.

If you are a qualified lawyer, you could also be eligible for the Master of Laws (Business Law) degree.

Meet a Course Academic

Professor William MacNeil is the Dean of Law and Head of School of Law and Justice at Southern Cross University. He has an extensive legal background and is the inaugural holder of The Honourable John Dowd Chair in Law. Professor MacNeil is also a scholar of jurisprudence and cultural legal studies and his most recent book, Novel Judgements: Legal Theory as Fiction; won the 2013 Penny Pether Prize for Scholarship in Law, Literature and the Humanities.
