Unit description
An examination of change within health, social and community care settings. Enables participants to evaluate, examine and critically reflect on leadership knowledge and apply those capabilities to leading innovation within health, social and community care settings. Participants use a fusion of evidenced based approaches, intra-personal and inter-personal capabilities to evaluate innovative practices within their continually changing workplace.

Learning outcomes

- Apply a range of management and leadership theories to health, social and community services to critically explore the efficacy of each theory in achieving innovative change
- Propose innovative change framework in health, social and community care settings including planning, implementation and evaluation
