What you can study
To receive your Graduate Certificate in Information Technology Management, you will need to complete any four units:
A pathway to your Masters in IT management
Upon finishing your Graduate Certificate in IT management, you can choose to continue studying and complete a Graduate Diploma in Information Technology Management and further to that, a Master of Information Technology Management.
You’ll receive RPL for the units you have completed in the Graduate Certificate, enabling you to progress your career with more advanced qualifications.
Your Student Success Advisor will help plan your units of study to ensure you meet the requirements of your postgraduate studies, from your Graduate Certificate through to completing your Masters degree.
To qualify for entry to the Graduate Certificate in IT Management online, you must:
- have a three (3) year undergraduate degree specialising or majoring in information technology (or in a cognate discipline); OR
- demonstrate academic or professional standing/experience considered equivalent to an undergraduate degree by the School Board or Course Coordinator.
In either case, you must be proficient in English in order to complete the Graduate Certificate in Information Technology Management.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available to those who have undertaken relevant education and/or significant workforce experience. Should you qualify for RPL, you could reduce the length and cost of your degree, getting you in the job you want even sooner.
