Marylee Crockett: Really the intention of an MBA is to grow great commercial, well-rounded leaders.

Sturt Eastwood: I have gone from humble beginnings through to running probably the 10th largest voice and satellite carrier in the world. Could I have done that without an MBA? Answer is no.

Leanne Done: I think doing the MBA has made me want to spread my wings and do things differently, and it's certainly opened my eyes to my potential and the opportunities that are out there for me to be able to take a different career path should I choose to.

MC: I am looking for people who are commercial first, who understand business and they couple that with a great aptitude for learning. They're the best employees.

Simon McArthur: I think most of the market expect an MBA these days. They know that people who have done an MBA have got rigour behind them, and really know how to think through cross-disciplines.

SE: You need pieces of paper that tell all these people that you don't know, that actually you have credibility, you have the discipline and you have the skill set.

MC: There's no doubt the opportunities available to MBA graduates are vastly increased as a consequence of their studies.

Courtney Geritz: My dream is to work overseas in Singapore, so the SCU MBA offers Asian business, so they can help me to take that next step.

SM: Eco-tourism is rooted in sustainability. Sustainability includes economic and financial, and that's there the MBA comes in. Without that stuff, you can't have all the environmental social stuff.

CG: The whole benefit of doing an online course is the fact that I can get on and I can do it when I want to. It's flexible, it gives me the opportunity to work as well as have time with my family on the weekends.

LD: You're able to do it at your own pace, at your own time and that's one of the most convenient things and one of the best things for me about doing the online version of an MBA.

Brian McNulty: The value of doing it online is that you actually build better relationships.

CG: They've got all the tools there at your disposal, so if are getting stuck or you're in trouble there's always somebody that you can talk to make it happen. I put my enquiry in with SCU and it's such an amazing opportunity to be able to do it in two years. So I took the plunge and started straight away.

MC: It's an investment worth making, and it's not for the fainthearted, but as a consequence of having been through that you'll be better for it. And commercially your opportunities will really open up.
